Adapted from a Readicut design. Piper's silk thread on 112 count silk gauze. Second prize in the 2nd. "World in Miniature" needlepoint competition.

Fred the Gardener wears an Aran jumper knitted on no.23/24 knitting needles using polyester sewing thread. Doll by Ann Crompton. 1/12th.scale. (140mm - 5 1/2" tall)


Pullovers

Fairisle pullovers knitted on no. 23/24 knitting needles (made from piano wire) using polyester sewing thread. Designs adapted from full size patterns. To fit a 14cm (5 1/2") doll.


Evening purse

Adapted from a Victorian original, an evening purse in Piper's silk thread on 112 count silk gauze. 1/12th. scale. First prize in Class III, 3rd. "World in Miniature" needlepoint competition.

King Charles Spaniel

design from a Staffordshire pottery original. Piper's silk thread on 140 count silk gauze. The dog measures just 2cm (13/16") high.


Christmas stocking

Cross stitch motif and tent stitch background in silk thread on 72 count silk gauze. Actual size: from top to toe, 4cm (1 5/8")
